The Riverwalk Trail Markers collection shows how a three-stop experience can teach local history, track progress, and reward finishers. Scan each QR below or open it in your browser to view the public page.

  • Each checkpoint has its own short story plus optional media.
  • Progress indicators tell hikers how many stops are left.
  • Completion screen can hand out prize instructions or next steps.

Build your own trail collection

  1. Visit /collections in the dashboard and choose Create collection. Pick a short name and set the intro message hikers will see before they opt in.
  2. Add checkpoints with QR Codes → Add to Collection. Use the item description field for stories, safety tips, or scavenger clues, and decide if stops are required or optional.
  3. Turn on ordered completion if your guests must follow the trail in sequence, then print weather-safe QR plaques for each stop.

Best Practices for Trails

Signage & Materials

Print QR codes on weather-rated vinyl or aluminum plates. Add “Scan for story” language so visitors know what to expect.

Ordered vs. Freestyle

For hikes and tours, enable “ordered completion” so the app confirms stops in sequence. For scavenger hunts, keep it flexible.

Surface Shortcuts

Add trail maps or directions to the intro body so late arrivals can catch up quickly.

Reward Trigger

Use the completion message to reveal a prize code, secret word, or next-step instructions.

Share the Experience

Print the QR for each checkpoint from the QR Codes grid. If you want a single “Start Here” sign, create a short-link QR that redirects to the first checkpoint slug. Visitors can also scan any stop directly to join mid-trail.
